2014 Dania Beach Vintage Motorcycle Show Jan. 25

It's coming: The Dania Beach Vintage Motorcycle Show.
Cafe racers are hot — hot as a January day in South Florida. They will be the "featured class" at the Annual Dania Beach Vintage Motorcycle Show,  Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Frost Park in Dania Beach, Fla.

Mark your calendar. I will.

The Dania Beach show is my "home" vintage motorcycle show and thus my favorite. It doesn't hurt that it's free for show goers. (An entry fee for those displaying motorcycles goes to Stray Aid & Rescue for animals.)

Classes include American, European, Japanese, English, Competition and Scooters. More than 300 machines 35 years of age and older show up.

Antique bicycles are there in numbers, too. They're an added pleasure, along with the customary swap meet, vendors, motorcycle skill team, field games, kiddie area and an appearance by the Roller Derby Girls.

There's more information at their website.

Here's a link to my pictures from last year's event.
