Dan Holmes released from hospital

Dan Holmes has been released from the hospital to go home, according to Bonneville Bullet teammate Phil Myers. He posted this message on the RoyalEnfieldSpeedRecord Yahoo message board:

"Connie Holmes has circulated an email saying that Dan was able to come home from the hospital! Wow! I knew he was a tough old bird but this is unreal!"

Holmes was hurt Friday in a bicycle accident and was airlifted to a Fort Wayne, Ind. hospital. In early September Holmes and teammates scored speed records with Royal Enfield motorcycles at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
