A side note - RE could not understand why we were worried about a basically ineffective front brake. At that time using the front brake was considered suicidal by Indian riders. No one used it. Mr. Murali was his name, nice chap and rode a lovely 350 Bullet. He was one of the only Executives who rode a bike to work! The others drove cars.
