After kick starting the needle stays in the centre and the battery does not charge. Always a good idea to fit a fuel filter in the pipe. If it is clear, put it back. Kick bike over a few times with ignition off. Remove spark plug. Is it wet? Does it smell of fuel? Then put plug on engine Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04096485257088457995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1943715898894235198.post-85818442325612039782020-11-01T20:27:37.850-05:002020-11-01T20:27:37.850-05:00My bullet starts in one kick but sometimes it take...My bullet starts in one kick but sometimes it takes 8 to 10 kicks or even not start. My only guess is that something is getting wet that should be dry. When similar happened to me I placed a dab of Vasoline around the boots that protect the wires that enter the coil. I have not had the problem since. Another area vulnerable to water would be the round casing that encloses David Blascohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14506975186222681171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1943715898894235198.post-51334064946921463362019-08-10T15:06:11.457-04:002019-08-10T15:06:11.457-04:00Hi David, Sorry to trouble you again.
