Loooong story, but in the end I was able to have it put on the road in the states, but a lot of extra unforeseen expenses went into this, none more so that the fleecing of certain parts off of it once put into the crate and into shipment (in India). The unofficial was bringing bikes for almost half the price to the official one.<br /><br />The problem I beleive really came when one tried to register the "grey" imported bike.
