Photos of the new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 twin

The new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 twin packs real authority.
Here are more photos of the new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 twin, shown for the first time in the United States last weekend at the Long Beach, Calif. motorcycle show.

Chrome headlight and instrument package obviously mean business.

Neither the front fender nor the motor are as shiny as they could be.

Lines of the frame are visible sign of strength.

Slender, upswept S&S mufflers look perfect.

Rear light assembly looks racy and light.

Colors will be available but many will choose chrome
for the tank, if they can get it.
Everyone will call it the Interceptor 650 twin but for
legal reasons it has to be labelled the INT650 in the U.S.

  1. Terrific photos! It still irks me that "Interceptor" cannot go on the US bikes. I would take the old RE logo from the points cover of the 1970 engine and then work "650" into an immediately recognizable logo.

  2. Thanks for the article! I think the head castings are far better than my 2000 Bullet. I prefer hope to experience. It might not rule the freeway but it's cheaper than Fireball or a Musket.
